KY Exposition Center Reimagined

Building for the Future

The Kentucky Exposition Center is currently undergoing a major expansion and renovation. The multi-million-dollar project will breathe new life into the facility, solidifying it as a premier facility for major events.

Phase I

The expansion and renovation project will position the Kentucky Exposition Center as the fifth largest convention center in the nation. The two-phase project is in the midst of Phase I, which will create a new 350,000-square-foot multi-purpose building that will become the facility’s largest Class A exhibit hall.

The $180 million investment is designed to expand and redefine event capabilities at the facility. It creates an expansive, interconnected space that will sit just east of Broadbent Arena and north of the West Wing.

Phase II

In Phase II of the project, the Kentucky Exposition Center will redevelop the West Wing, West Hall, and Pavilion into a 249,000-square-foot multi-purpose wing. This $213 million phase will also enhance food and beverage operations in the South Wing, creating a more seamless guest experience.
