The Kentucky Association FFA has awarded a Kentucky Venues employee with the highest honor for an adult. Brenda O'Bryan was selected to receive the Honorary State FFA Degree for the support she has shown the FFA through the years.

The Kentucky FFA Association is a student-led organization whose mission is to make a positive difference in students' lives by developing their potential for premier leadership, personal growth, and career success through agricultural education.

O'Bryan started working part-time at Kentucky Venues in 2008. She worked directly with the North American International Livestock Exposition and added the Kentucky State Fair to her workload shortly after. She now also helps with the Championship Tractor Pull.

She was honored at an award ceremony on June 7 for her work with the FFA. O'Bryan calls herself a full-time part-timer in our Expositions Department. She enjoys the work she does and loves being a part of highlighting the work our farmers are doing.
