LOUISVILLE, Ky. (May 19, 2026) — Kentucky Venues today announced the appointment of Sierra Rojas to the role of Executive Director of Human Resources. Reporting to President & CEO David S. Beck, Rojas will support ongoing personnel and payroll management at the Kentucky Exposition Center, Kentucky International Convention Center, and the six events produced by Kentucky Venues.

In her new role, Rojas will oversee a team responsible for recruitment, employee relations, benefits, payroll, compliance, and policy administration across a workforce that scales from a year-round staff to hundreds of seasonal team members during the agency’s largest events.

“Sierra brings a strong combination of operational leadership, people management, and regulatory expertise to Kentucky Venues,” said David S. Beck, President & CEO of Kentucky Venues. “Her background in leading within complex, regulated environments, and her commitment to building healthy, well-supported workplaces, makes her well-suited to lead our HR team as we continue to grow.”

Rojas joins Kentucky Venues from Baptist Health Medical Group, where she most recently served as Practice Manager for the Gastroenterology and Complex Care practice. A Kentucky native, Rojas holds a Bachelor’s degree in Workforce Administration from Western Kentucky University. She also holds professional certifications in business & office administration.

“I’m honored to join Kentucky Venues at such an exciting moment for the organization,” said Rojas. “Kentucky Venues hosts some of the most important events in the Commonwealth, and that’s only possible because of the people who make it happen. I’m looking forward to supporting our team and building on the strong foundation already in place.”
