Kentucky Exposition Center to Expand Footprint with New Event and Parking Space
The Kentucky Exposition Center has taken another major step in its renovation and expansion project as approximately 300,000 square feet of contiguous land, formerly under lease, has been reclaimed to support future events. The property, located at 911 Phillips Lane, is currently being razed for flexible parking and event activations, further expanding the Center’s capacity to host large-scale experiences.
The strategic decision to modify the property’s use aligns with Kentucky Venues’ long-range vision for a modernized, accessible, and more versatile campus. As the sixth-largest exposition facility in the nation, the agency is optimizing every acre to support record-breaking events, enhance traffic flow, and improve visitor experience.
Plans are underway this summer to utilize the space for events, including the National Street Rods Association, the Kentucky State Fair, Bourbon & Beyond, and Louder Than Life.
