Two Kentucky Venues Staff Nominated for 2026 Louisville ROSE Awards

Kentucky Venues is proud to announce that two of its team members, Mary Kinman at the Kentucky Exposition Center and Skyler Jenkins at the Kentucky International Convention Center, have been nominated for the 2026 Louisville ROSE Awards. 

The ROSE Awards honor individuals who deliver outstanding hospitality and service in Louisville’s tourism and hospitality industry. Mary and Skyler reflect the values of Kentucky Venues and the exceptional guest experience they provide to hundreds of thousands of visitors each year. 

Meet the Nominees: 

Mary Kinman, Kentucky Exposition Center | Behind the Scenes Category 

Mary has guided visitors through 52 Kentucky State Fairs. Part map, part directory, part history book, and part Louisville guide, she carries decades of knowledge wherever she goes. That experience allows her to answer questions, solve problems, and welcome guests with a familiarity that can’t be taught. Few people know the fair, its visitors, and its history quite like Mary. 

Skyler Jenkins, Kentucky International Convention Center | Event Services Category 

As a senior event manager, Skyler turns strong event management instincts into better guest experiences and smarter operations. He sees the full picture of every event, balancing service with stewardship by improving the customer experience while identifying cost savings that help a major public venue operate more effectively.
